Making Your End-of-Year Gift

As we are coming up on the end of year, we’ve compiled the information below to help you make a year-end gift that meets the IRS guidelines for a 2025 tax deduction. We encourage you to make your contribution online. This method is safe, secure and speedy. You can make online contributions up until 11:59 pm MT on December 31.

ELECTRONIC STOCK TRANSFER

Fill out the Stock Intake Form (on the giving.cu.edu site) to provide crucial information to process your stock gift and to receive current stock transfer instructions AND initiate a transfer request with the firm holding the securities that will be transferred.
Transfer time may take 3-5 days.
Shares must be received in the Foundation's brokerage account by December 31.

Wire Transfer

Fill out the Wire Intake Form (on the giving.cu.edu site) to provide crucial information to process your gift and to receive current wire transfer instructions AND submit a transfer request to your financial institution to wire the funds.
Transfer time may take 2-3 days.
Funds must be received by the Foundation by December 31.

Credit Card By Phone

Call (303) 492-2200 to make your gift over the phone.
Credit card information must be received by Buff Club staff no later than 5 pm MT on December 31.

In Person at 1800 Grant Street

Drop off your contribution at the CU Foundation office at 1800 Grant Street, Suite 725, Denver, CO 80203.
Contributions must be dropped off at the Foundation’s office no later than 5 pm MT on December 31. (Please call 303-541-1290 to be let into the building)

Checks

Include fund name and/or other information about what you are wanting to support (e.g., use the check memo line).
Checks are payable to University of Colorado Foundation.
Send checks via USPS and mail to: Buff Club, 369 UCB, Boulder, CO 80309.
Checks must have a postmark no later than December 31.

Online Gifts

Visit cubuffclub.com/givenow to make a gift online.
Credit card gifts must be charged before 11:59 pm MT on December 31.
