CU Buff Club, Colorado Athletics

The Ralphie Program has been 100% funded by the generosity of our donors and fans! A tradition that began in 1967, Ralphie has led the Colorado football team on the field before each game and has become renowned nationally as the best live mascot in college sports. The annual upkeep for Ralphie and the Ralphie Handler program is nearly $100,000 a year. A gift to the Ralphie Program provides our beloved buffalo and her handlers with hay, veterinary care, lead ropes, clothing and leather gloves, while also covering annual transportation and ranch operating expenses.
