Golden Buffalo Scholarship Fund

The Golden Buffalo Scholarship Fund provides over $13 million annually in scholarships, giving CU’s 350+ student-athletes the financial support they need to excel both academically and athletically. As education costs continue to rise, these scholarships alleviate financial strain while strengthening CU’s recruiting competitiveness, allowing us to attract top talent who can contribute in the classroom and on the playing surface. Your investment empowers Buffs to thrive during their time at CU and beyond, providing critical resources such as tuition assistance, books, tutoring, and mentorships that help student-athletes complete their degrees and succeed in life after sports.
 
Sport Specific Excellence Funds

Sport Specific Excellence Funds allow donors to directly support our 17 programs by funding critical needs such as equipment, travel, recruiting, training technology and more, ensuring each team has what it needs to be successful. An investment in a team’s excellence fund provides the resources to recruit, develop, and graduate student-athletes while delivering a world-class experience. Your gift makes a direct impact and allows our student-athletes to perform at their best within the Big 12 and beyond.
 
Legacy Giving
 
Legacy
Legacy Giving provides long-term, sustainable support for CU Athletics through named endowed scholarships, planned gifts (such as leaving CU in your will or trust), life-income gifts, and leadership-level contributions like the Flatirons Society. These investments ensure the continued success of our programs and 350+ student-athletes, while giving donors the opportunity to leave a meaningful legacy and connect their name with the future of CU Athletics.
